Spray roses are the difference between traditional roses
When you think of a rose, you probably picture a single flower with a long, thorny stem. Spray roses are a little different. They are also part of the Rosaceae family, but instead of growing a single flower on the stem, several clusters bloom, known as inflorescence. This means that you will see many small flowers growing together rather than one large flower. In addition to being a bit smaller, this flower has a larger volume than a traditional rose.
Not all spray roses are the same. Just like the traditional rose, you will find many different varieties. Typical colors include white, pink, red, orange, yellow and purple, and with a variety of shades, spray peonies are quite popular, meaning it should be easy to find the exact shade you’re looking for. A traditional bouquet of roses is quite beautiful and classic, however, the advantage of spray roses is their volume, a classic yet different and cheerful look.
How to use spray roses
Because of their small size and volume, spray roses are very suitable for mixed bouquets when we want to use roses and we want the bouquet to have volume and the dominant flower is not a rose, as well. Spray roses are ideal for wrist or head decorations, as well as for boutonnieres, where a classic rose will not do because of a large flower. It is also acceptable to use them for table or event decorations.
