Yes, we have Dutch garden roses (Garden Rose), peony-like roses that have an amazing fragrance. The roses imported from Ecuador are also of the Dutch variety. The rose grown in Holland itself is not tall due to natural conditions, it is quite tender and relatively less durable than the rose grown in Ecuador. However, the beauty of Dutch roses really oppresses other breeds.
Why are flowers expensive in Georgia?
Georgia, being a small country, does not import a lot of flowers, so does not get any bulk discounts. Also, there is only one way to get flowers into Georgia, by the airplane, which is the most expensive transportation in the world.
